Short verdict

WinHero suits a slots player in any province except New Brunswick who wants a large four-step package: up to €8,000 and 475 free spins, at 45x the bonus. The weak point is accountability. No licence is named anywhere, the terms let the casino cut withdrawals to €1,000 a week for players who bet less than €7,000 a week, and Trustpilot shows 79% one-star reviews.

What we checked

This is a desk review done on November 5, 2026. We read WinHero’s terms of use (last updated February 1, 2025), its payment policy (February 1, 2025), its bonus policy (July 4, 2023), the live promotion cards, the home page and the game lobbies as a logged-out visitor, and searched the Anjouan and Curaçao licence lists. Each page first showed a bot check; reloading the address showed the page. We have not deposited or withdrawn, so there is no payout time yet; see how we test. This casino is one of our partners and pays us a commission when a reader signs up. It does not affect the ratings; see what we earn.

Owner and licence: a Costa Rica company, no regulator

Clause 1.4 says WinHero is operated by GEFATA Corporation Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada, and the responsible gambling section places its office in Jaco, Costa Rica. No registration number, street address, licence or seal appears on the site. We found no WinHero or GEFATA entry in the Anjouan register or in the Curaçao Gaming Authority licence list of November 2, 2026.

Without a licence there is nobody to escalate a dispute to, and clause 13.3 says the casino’s “judgment is final”. The policy pages share their layout and clause numbering with Fanobet and Bino.bet, but each names its own company. WinHero has no provincial registration; see Ontario.

Clause 2.1.2 bars the “Canadian Province of New Brunswick” along with the UK, the USA, Portugal, Lithuania and others. The rest of Canada is not on the list.

Welcome package: €8,000 at 45x, 7 days per step

The promotion cards list four deposits: 150% up to €2,000 with 100 spins, 125% up to €2,500 with 125 spins, 100% up to €2,000 with 100 spins (each from €20), and 150% up to €1,500 with 150 spins from €50. Every card says “Bonus wager x45” and “Bonus lifetime 7 Days”. Free spins arrive in daily batches.

The cards do not give a maximum bet or a cash-out cap. The only published bonus policy is dated July 2023: it sets a €5 maximum bet, counts only bets made with bonus money, blocks jackpot games, and caps what you can withdraw after wagering at 5 times the bonus, never more than €1,000. Example: a €100 first deposit brings €150, so you must bet 150 × 45 = €6,750 within 7 days, and at most €750 can come out. See our bonus guide.

Two regular offers have no wagering. Daily cashback starts at 5% (capped at €5 on the first VIP level) and rises to 20%, but only if your balance is under €10 and your withdrawals are not above 70% of your deposits. Rakeback starts at 1%.

Payments for Canadian players

The payment policy names cards and e-wallets and lists CAD among accepted currencies. Interac appears as a footer logo and in a home page list of popular methods, but no page gives its limits or says whether it pays out.

Clause 6.11 sets €5,000 a day, €10,000 a week and €30,000 a month, while the payment policy says €20,000 a month. The same clause drops the limits to €1,000 a week for players whose bets total under €7,000 a week, and to €1,000 a day for anyone who has set a deposit, loss or bet limit, self-excluded, or left the account idle for a month. Clause 6.15 caps winnings at €100,000 a day.

Before a withdrawal, clause 5.6 asks you to bet your deposit three times or pay a 30% fee; the payment policy says once. The first withdrawal needs ID, proof of address, a bank statement and photos of your card. Clause 4.4 charges €100 a month on an account whose documents are not sent within 30 days, and clause 9.3 lets WinHero forfeit all balances over VPN use. More on Interac casinos.

Games

The sidebar counts 5,216 casino games and 107 live games. Slots from studios such as Playson, BGaming and Thunderkick carry a “Try for Fun” button while logged out, and the search box looks up games and providers. In the live lobby, ICONIC21, Winfinity and Absolute Live Gaming tables were playable from our Montreal connection; Evolution titles such as Crazy Time are listed but marked “Not available in your region”. See live casino.

What other players report

On November 5, 2026, Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 1.8 for winhero.com from 146 reviews, 79% of them one-star. The recurring complaints are delayed or unpaid withdrawals, requests to close an account or self-exclude that went unanswered, and repeated document checks. Trustpilot does not verify reviews.

AskGamblers lists two complaints. A €3,710 delayed withdrawal was resolved. The unresolved one, for €2,476, comes from a player who says they asked to close the account over a gambling problem and kept receiving bonus offers.

Responsible gambling tools

Self-exclusion for 6 months to 5 years is requested by email to support@winhero.com and cannot be reversed early. Clause 6.11 mentions deposit, loss, wager and bet limits on the account, but setting one lowers your withdrawal limit to €1,000 a day. Help in Canada: responsible gambling.

Questions

Can I play at WinHero from New Brunswick?

No. Clause 2.1.2 of the terms bars residents of the Canadian Province of New Brunswick. The other provinces are not on the restricted list.

Is WinHero licensed?

We found no licence. The terms name GEFATA Corporation in Costa Rica but no regulator or number, and neither the Anjouan register nor the Curaçao list has an entry.

Why could my WinHero withdrawal limit be lower than €10,000 a week?

Clause 6.11 allows €1,000 a week for players whose bets total under €7,000 a week, and €1,000 a day for accounts with limits, self-exclusion or a month without activity.

Does WinHero take Interac?

The home page lists Interac among its popular payment methods and shows the logo, but no page gives Interac limits or says whether it can be used for withdrawals.
