No deposit bonuses for existing players in Canada
Once you have an account, offers arrive by email, in your inbox on the site or through a loyalty program. Here is how to judge them.
Short answer
Existing players get offers through the casino’s promotions page, email or loyalty program: occasional no deposit spins, reload bonuses on later deposits, and cashback on net losses. True no deposit offers for existing players are less common than reloads and cashback. Cashback with no or low wagering is usually the best value, because it returns part of a loss you already had. The offers our test accounts received:.
Loyalty offers are built to keep you playing. Keep your deposit limit in place after the welcome bonus ends: responsible gambling.
What casinos offer players who already have an account
After the welcome package, casinos switch to smaller recurring offers. The four kinds we see most:
- No deposit drops: free spins or a small free chip credited without a payment, often on a new slot release or a birthday.
- Reload bonuses: a deposit match on a later deposit, usually a lower percentage than the welcome bonus.
- Cashback: a percentage of net losses over a period (a day or a week) returned as cash or bonus money.
- Loyalty or VIP points: points earned per amount wagered, exchanged for bonus money or spins.
Most of these are personal. Two players at the same casino can see different offers, because casinos target them by deposit history and activity. That is why we can only list an existing-player offer once one of our own test accounts receives it.
Cashback versus a reload: a worked example
Suppose you deposit C$100 a week and lose it. Compare two offers.
Offer A, 10% cashback paid as cash with no wagering: you get 10% × C$100 = C$10 back, and you can withdraw it.
Offer B, 50% reload up to C$50 with 35x wagering on the bonus: a C$100 deposit gives a C$50 bonus. Wagering is 35 × C$50 = C$1,750. At 96% RTP the average cost is C$1,750 × 0.04 = C$70, which is more than the C$50 bonus. On average the reload adds nothing, while it locks your deposit until wagering is done.
The cashback looks smaller and is worth more. Check whether cashback is paid as cash or as bonus money: if it carries wagering, run it through the calculator on the bonuses page before you count it.
How to get existing-player offers without overplaying
Most offers go to players who agreed to receive marketing. Check the marketing preferences in your account: email, SMS and on-site messages are usually separate switches. Turn on only what you want to read.
Look at the promotions page and the bonus inbox before each deposit. A reload you didn’t want can be applied automatically to a deposit, which locks your balance under wagering. If that happens, ask support to remove the bonus before you place a bet.
Loyalty points reward volume. Points that convert at a small fraction of the amount wagered are worth little: if 1,000 points need C$1,000 of bets and convert to C$1, that is a 0.1% return, far below the 4% house edge on a 96% RTP slot. Don’t raise your bets to reach the next tier.

Traps in existing-player offers
Small offers, small caps
No deposit drops for existing players usually carry a maximum cashout. Compare the cap with the time the wagering will take.
A reload brings back the bet limit
An active reload sets a maximum bet again. If you normally bet above it, one spin can void the bonus. Decline the reload if you don’t want the limit.
Cashback may exclude some games
Cashback and loyalty points are often calculated only on certain games. Losses at live tables or on excluded slots may not count.
Points and offers expire
Loyalty points can expire after a period without play, and personal offers often last a day or two. Read the expiry in the offer itself.
Large wins trigger new checks
Even with a verified account, a big withdrawal can bring a request for more documents, such as proof of the source of funds. Keep your documents current.
Questions
Do casinos give no deposit bonuses to existing players?
Some do, usually as occasional free spins or birthday credits. They are less frequent than reloads and cashback, and they are often sent only to players who opted in to marketing.
Is cashback better than a reload bonus?
If the cashback is paid as cash or with low wagering, usually yes. A reload with 35x wagering costs more on average than the bonus is worth.
How do I stop bonus emails?
Change the marketing preferences in your casino account or use the unsubscribe link. If you want a break from gambling, use the casino’s self-exclusion or cool-off tool instead.
Can a casino take back a bonus I already received?
Yes, if you break the bonus terms, for example the maximum bet or the rule against multiple accounts. Bonus money that has not been converted to cash can also be removed when it expires.
