Short verdict
PlayFina suits a Canadian outside Ontario and New Brunswick who wants a casino with a named owner, CAD accounts and withdrawal limits of C$3,000 a day and C$7,500 a week. Its licence comes from the Tobique Gaming Commission, and we found the operator, Novatrix SRL, in that register. The catch is in the bonus rules: bets above C$7.50 while a bonus is active can cost you the winnings, and bonus wins are capped at 10 times the bonus.
What we checked
We did this desk review on November 3, 2026. We read PlayFina’s general terms (version 1.0, cover date February 16, 2026), the bonus terms, the four welcome deposit pages and the responsible gambling page, and checked the operator in the Tobique Gaming Commission’s list of licence holders. The payments page returned an error, so payment methods come from AskGamblers. No money test yet; see how we test. This casino is one of our partners and pays us a commission when a reader signs up. It does not affect the ratings; see what we earn.
Licence and owner
Clause 1.1 of the terms names Novatrix SRL, registered in Costa Rica under number 3-102-893958, holding e-gaming licence No. 0000002 from the Tobique Gaming Commission. Tobique is a First Nation in New Brunswick. Its commission’s licence holder list includes “Novatrix S.R.L” as a B2C licensee with an expiry date of March 13, 2027. The list shows company names only, no websites, so we could not match playfina.com to the entry.
The Anjouan Gaming register also lists playfina.com under a second licence held by Novatrix SRL (ALSI-202508056-FI2, valid until August 24, 2027), shared with more than 60 other domains, among them Dazard, another partner brand. PlayFina itself only mentions the Tobique licence. A Tobique licence is not a provincial registration. Clause 2.4 excludes two provinces by name: New Brunswick and Ontario. Players elsewhere in Canada are accepted. For Ontario’s own regulated market, see Ontario.
Welcome package over four deposits
The package adds up to €1,800 and 800 free spins, each step with its own code. The first deposit gets 100% (up to €300 from a €200 deposit, code FIRST), the second 80% (up to €400, code SECOND), the third 60% (up to €500, code THIRD) and the fourth 40% (up to €600, code FOURTH). Each step gives 50, 100 or 200 spins depending on the deposit; first deposit spins are on Gold Rush with Johnny Cash and fourth deposit spins on Kraken’s Hunger, both at €0.10 a spin.
Wagering is 35 times the bonus, the bonus must be activated within 72 hours of the deposit and lasts 7 days. Example: a C$300 first deposit bonus means C$300 × 35 = C$10,500 in bets within a week. The maximum bet is C$7.50 for all games while a bonus is active, and Casino Guru has a rejected complaint where a player lost €400 in winnings for going over the €5 limit. Bonus winnings are capped at 10 times the bonus and free spin winnings at €100. Slots count 100%, table games 5%, and jackpot and bonus buy games are excluded. More on rollover: bonuses.
The promotions page also lists weekday reloads, a monthly cashback and a weekly rakeback; their rates are not given on the pages we could read.
Payments for Canadian players
AskGamblers lists Interac, MiFinity, MuchBetter, Flexepin, Visa, Mastercard and a dozen cryptocurrencies for deposits, and Interac, MiFinity and MuchBetter for withdrawals. The casino’s terms add only the bonus minimum of C$30 and bank transfer timing.
| Method | Minimum deposit | Minimum withdrawal | Time stated by the casino | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | C$30 to get a bonus | Not published | Aims for 72 hours after approval | Not published |
| Bank transfer | Not published | Not published | Within 3 business days | Not published |
| Crypto | Not published | Not published | Aims for 72 hours after approval | Not published |
Clause 11.8 sets the limits in CAD: C$3,000 a day, C$7,500 over a rolling 7 days and C$30,000 a month. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full outside these limits. For identity checks, clause 18.2 asks for photo ID and proof of address, and clause 8.4 allows a phone call; if the casino cannot reach you within two weeks of a withdrawal request, it locks the account and cancels the withdrawal. After 12 months without activity, a dormant account pays €20 a month (clause 12.2). See Interac and MiFinity.
Games
The logged-out home page shows provider logos as images without names, a search control and live sections for roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows. AskGamblers lists 86 providers for PlayFina, including Evolution, Ezugi and Lucky Streak. We could not confirm demo play or RTP display from the pages we read.
What other players report
AskGamblers listed 10 complaints on November 3, 2026: 9 resolved and 1 rejected (a €4,000 withdrawal not processed for six days). The resolved ones include a cancelled US$14,000 withdrawal and several verification holds.
Casino Guru’s complaint pages show a Safety Index of 8.2 (High). Recurring subjects there are accounts frozen after a win, verification delays and bonus winnings removed over the maximum bet rule. Trustpilot has removed PlayFina’s profile for breaching its guidelines, so there are no Trustpilot reviews to report.
Responsible gambling tools
PlayFina offers daily, weekly or monthly deposit, loss and wager limits, a cooling-off of 1 week to 6 months and self-exclusion for 6 months, 9 months, 1 year or indefinitely. All are set through live chat or email, not in the account, and crypto deposits may not be covered by the limits. Lowering a limit takes effect at once. Help: responsible gambling.

Questions
Is PlayFina licensed in Canada?
It holds a licence from the Tobique Gaming Commission, a First Nation regulator in New Brunswick, and we found Novatrix SRL in its register. That is not a provincial registration, and the terms exclude Ontario and New Brunswick.
How much can I withdraw from PlayFina per week?
C$7,500 over a rolling 7 days, with C$3,000 a day and C$30,000 a month. Progressive jackpot wins are not counted.
What is the maximum bet with a PlayFina bonus?
C$7.50 per bet on all games. Going over it is grounds for removing the bonus and its winnings.
Does PlayFina pay out by Interac?
AskGamblers lists Interac for deposits and withdrawals. We have not tested it, and the casino’s own payments page did not load.
