Short verdict
Betsio suits a player who wants a CAD account on a casino whose licence can be checked: the Anjouan register lists betsio.com under ALSI-202410047-FI2. The catches are a cashier with no Interac, a first-tier withdrawal cap of C$3,750 a week, and a welcome bonus that allows only C$3 per spin. Casino Guru also counts five unresolved complaints for the brand and its sister sites.

This is a desk review done on November 3, 2026. We read Betsio’s terms and conditions (version 4.0, January 15, 2026), the bonus terms, the payments page, the promotions page and the responsible gaming page on the Canadian version of the site, opened the footer licence seal, and searched the Anjouan licence register. Licence and owner: two company names
The footer says betsio.com is run by Tessera Limited S.R.L., registration 3-102-913501, under Anjouan licence ALSI-202410047-FI2. The Anjouan Gaming register shows that licence as valid until October 17, 2027, with betsio.com on the domain list, and the footer seal opened a validation page reading “Operating status: VALID”.
The terms tell a different story. Section 3 says the site is owned and operated by Techno Wave Systems S.R.L., registration 3-102-961721, “regulated by the Government of Costa Rica”, with no licence number. Techno Wave is not on the Anjouan register. Before a large deposit, ask support in writing which company holds your account.

Welcome bonus: 225% over three deposits, C$3 max bet
The promotions page advertises 225% plus 225 free spins up to C$17,250. In the bonus terms this is three offers: code BETSIO, 100% up to C$15,000 with 100 spins on Jungle Queen (20 a day for five days); code SECOND, 75% up to C$1,500 with 75 spins; code THIRD, 50% up to C$750 with 50 spins. The first deposit must be at least C$30.
Wagering is 40 times the bonus plus free spin winnings, within seven days, and each bonus must be activated within one day. Example: a C$100 bonus with C$10 from spins needs (100 + 10) × 40 = C$4,400 in bets. The maximum bet is C$3 per spin, including bought bonus rounds. Bonus winnings are capped at five times the deposit, and no more than C$7,500. Amusnet slots and progressive jackpots are excluded. Our bonus guide covers how rollover works.
Regular offers include a first-day cashback of 10% up to C$1,500 and a daily cashback of 5% to 10%, both wagered three times, plus a weekend reload.

The Canadian payments page lists amounts without a currency; the withdrawal minimum of 45 matches the C$45 in the terms.

Interac, iDebit and Instadebit are not listed. Withdrawal caps depend on lifetime deposits: C$1,500 a day, C$3,750 a week and C$15,000 a month up to 1,000 EUR deposited, rising to C$15,000 a week above 10,000 EUR. Wins above C$45,000 can be paid in monthly instalments, and clause 19 lets the casino cap payouts at 100,000 EUR per gaming session.
Each deposit must be wagered three times before a withdrawal, or the casino may charge processing costs. ID documents are due within 30 days of a request. After 180 days without a login, a fee of US$10 a month applies. Alternatives to Interac: MuchBetter, MiFinity, crypto.

The Canadian home page claims nearly 10,000 games from more than 60 providers. Studios named on it include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt, BGaming, Endorphina, Spribe and Novomatic, with live tables from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Beterlive. The lobby has a provider filter and a search window. Game tiles read by our fetch tool carried a demo label, but the logged-out Slots page loaded no games in our browser, so we could not count providers ourselves.
What other players report
Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 2.4 from 67 reviews on November 3, 2026, 63% of them one-star, on a profile Betsio claimed in May 2025. Recurring complaints are pending or cancelled withdrawals and winnings voided under bonus rules; Betsio replied to 84% of negative reviews. Trustpilot does not verify reviews.
Casino Guru rates Betsio’s Safety Index at 3.0 (Very low) and counts 18 complaints across Betsio and related casinos, 5 unresolved and 7 rejected; we read this through search listings because Casino Guru blocked us. AskGamblers gives a CasinoRank of 8.2 and lists one complaint, about a card withdrawal of €900, marked resolved.
